Geiger Montessori School

Geiger Montessori is one of two Montessori Elementary schools in the Tacoma School District. The project required angled curtain wall by the main entry/court yard and had oversized brake shapes ranging from approximately 22-inches wide by 12 feet tall with 4-inch returns. Some brake shapes were in a “W” shape with notching around many outlets and horizontal beams – all completed by Metro Glass.

Kuni Westside Infinity

Working with Autotainment Ventures, LLC, Metro installed a custom built, suspended canopy that was segmented with curtain wall and metal panels. The curtain wall and glass were both custom designed and made by Oldcastle Building Envelope exclusively for Infinity.

The project included: lighting requirements behind the glass and signage mounted to the mullions both of which took precise coordination with all trades involved. Through careful coordination meetings, the project was delivered on time, and within budget.
