Metro Glass was the Glazing Subcontractor on this project providing a complete glazing scope totaling over $1 million dollars. The project consisted of two different curtain wall products including blue custom painted accent beauty cap, two different storefront products, an array of 9 different glass types, and one of the architectural focuses – the custom perforated aluminum sunshades. These sunshades are not a typical application and we had to design-build custom installation components because of this reason. Metro Glass provided architectural aluminum brake shapes as well. The small site footprint was a challenge and at times, and it was necessary to share small areas of work with other trades utilizing multiple pieces of equipment. Metro Glass completed the project ahead of schedule and under budget.
